1. The rate of piracy and criminalities in the Gulf of Guinea has been a source of concern to the international community and the Countries bordering the areas. MLAILPKC in collaboration with UNDP is currently looking for suitable consultants to conduct research into the root causes of piracy and maritime crimes in the Gulf of Guinea with a view to building training capacity toward curbing the menace. In addition, prospective consultants would be expected to partner with MLAILPKC to run courses on anti-piracy in the Gulf of Guinea with the objective of reducing the influence of piracy in the Gulf and by extension improving regional security and international trade.
